chester, theodore, was born sept. 27, 1844, in barry twp., schuylkill co., only son of john chester who lived at danville. john chester married matilda yarnall, from schuylkill co., she was a quaker. her father was ekijah yarnall.
theodore chester married june 4, 1864 to louise wolf, d/o abraham wolf. children; herbert c., emma a., wilson, nathan wellington, samuel, asburry, bessie, married herbert a, welker, jennie married jacob bright and annie.
