The parents of Emma Yager are John M. Yager b. 5/24/1833 and Anna Mary Nancy Brier b. 1840, d. 1886. John M. Yager is the son of Johannes Juda Thadeus Theodoria de Yager b. 1805 and Catherine Gertrude Fisher b. 1809. Some of these records can be found in the Catholic church records of St. Mary's in Ste. Marie, Illinois. I have seen these records in person. They are huge books. The Newton, Jasper Co., Illinois Public Library has a history book of submissions from families and it may contain more information of interest to you.
The parents of Anna Marie Nancy Brier are ---?Brier and Margretha Rothin who wed Michael Dhom after her first husband's death (or divorce from Mr. Brier, I don't know which yet). Anna Mary Nancy Brier had a sister named Elizabeth who married Frank J. Schackman. Emma Yager came from a large family. She was one of eleven children including two sets of twins. She was 9th born. Her father John M. Yager was one of eight children, maybe nine even. It has been said that John M. Yager's father Johannes (also known as John D. Yager) was a professor from Hesse-Darmstadt. I've no verification of this yet but the idea has percolated down through various lines of this large family. Even the Yagers from the bend all descend from this line that started from Johannnes. The Yagers first came to America in 1843. As for Emma Barbara Yager Frichtl's children, my notes may contain errors but I have the following eight children listed for her and John B. Frichtl: Anna Frichtl, Elizabeth Frichtl (wed Paul Michl), Edgar Frichtl (wed Frieda Staley), Adam Frichtl (wed Eilene Keller who remarried Herman Ochs), Osacr Frichtl (wed Miller), Regina Frichtl (wed Wilson), Thresa Frichtl (wed Robinson), and Margaret Frichtl who became a Catholic Nun. The name Otto Hippler is on the list as related somehow but I don't remember how. I'll have to look through my other notes to see why I scribbled that name on this list. In the meantime, this should keep you busy trying to verify all this. I've been collecting notes since I was in my early teens and that was a few decades (3 to be exact) ago. Unfortunately I didn't always note my sources and I must have thought that I would always remember what my little scribbles here and there would mean. I had spent days at the churches, libraries, tracking down abstracts, looking through family bibles and papers. I even spent a summer in Salt Lake City , Utah at the genealogical library there. Eventually I learned to do better. Fot others who may be searching I'll list now Emma Yager's siblings: Mary Yager b. 1860 wed Joseph Moschenross, Joseph Yager b. 1862, d. age 3 and a half, Twins Ida and Katie b. 1866, John Yager b. 1868, Maggie Yager b. 1870, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Yager b. 1872, Peter Yager b. 1875 d. 1876, Emma Yager b. 1876 (wed J. Frichtl), twins Anna Yager and Frank Jospeh Yager b. 1878 (Anna never married, Frank married Mary Theresa Spiesel). Let me know if there are errrors!
I have more family groups besides these.
