I would not mind talking on the phone but I am not sure if Mr and Mrs William A Yager are my family members yet. My Yager ancestors came from Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany via Woodsboro, Maryland,then Frederick, Maryland, and then Lake County, Indiana. Several of them moved around the Chicago area around 1890 and still live either in Chicago or Northwest Indiana. There were a couple of my gg- uncles that were named George William Yager. At least one of them I think went by William. He was married to a Pearl Sevearnce and then remarried after Pearl died. He was born in 8-23-1891 and died in Feb 1963. Another George William Yager was born 5-0-1885. There was yet another George William Yager that was born 1862 and died in 1943. He was married to a Annie Dovel or Devol.
Are there any names or places in the book that can connect my Yagers? Did the book give Mrs Yager's first name? Did William go bye his middle name?

Frederick Maryland, Woodsboro Maryland, Ross Township Indiana, Lake County Indiana, Porter County Indiana, Hobart Indiana, Plainville Daviess Indinana, Miami Indiana, and of course Chicago.
If any of these names match you might have the right family, if they dont then you probably dont.
