Hi Matthew,

I know this info is old, but maybe it will still help you.
My relatives are also from Iowa, and I have a cousin who's name is Greg Alan Yancy who currently lives in California now. His dad was my uncle, Alan Lester Yancy who died in Houston ( sometime in the early 90's...not sure of the date). My grandmothers maiden name is Frances Atzenhoefer who was born in Minnesota and married my grandfather Lester Monroe Yancy. They moved to Des Moines, Iowa and then sometime in the 70's they moved to Texas. My Grandfather died in Texas in 1989. It sounds like we might be related.
