I noticed that Sir George Yeardley was posted as born between 1577 and 1580. My family history has it that he was born in 1588 and died in 1627. He arrived in Jamestown in Deliverance in 1609. Lady Yeardley (Temperance Flowerdew) arrived in 1608 in the Falcon. He was Deputy Gov. of the Va. Colony in 1616, and Gov./Capt. Gen. in 1619. First appt. Gov. by King and in 1619 called together the first legislative assembly ever set in America. Owned both the Flowerdew Hundred and Weyanoke Plantations. Nice stock to originate from........give me a call for some of the subsequent history as I know it........
