Jolene,

I think we may be related. The Yarrick or Yerrick or Yearick family came from Pennsylvania to Ohio to Clinton Co., MI with a bunch of other families that are related, including the Hettinger and Yarger families. I would very much like to know what information you have on the Yarricks/ Yerricks.

I know that your Ada Yarrick, who married George W. Dennis, was a daughter of Issac (Isaac) G. Yarrick and Rebecca Rowland. Issac was born on July 4, 1830 (possibly in Ohio), and married Rebecca on July 18, 1852 in Ashland Co., OH. Another daughter of theirs, Sarah Ellen Yerrick, married George Frank Baker, and a son, William H. Yerrick, married Sarah Jane Hettinger. I don't know who Issac's parents were, but I would like to find out --- I think he might be a son of Jonathon Yerrick and Rebecca Hettinger.

By the way, the name Dennis also shows up in my family-- Della Kosht (1870-1941) married Willis R. Dennis (1867-1919). Della's mother was a Hettinger.

If you would like more information, please write back. I am anxious to hear from you, with any information you might have!
