I think I responded direct, but 'our' line of Rebecca Yeager was, as you can see below...daughter of Peter Yeager she married PETER YEAGER born April 11, 1799 died November 24, 1876. Lived his life near Catawissa and Slabtown (birthplace not known) and WIFE not known..he had sons Daniel(BELOW) born 1821; Amos born 1822(father of Amos Franklin Yeager); Daughters Mary (m Isaac Singley); Rebecca (m Frederick Wade, then Gottlieb Wiest--in Pottsville, Pa); Angeline (m Silas Summrs) ..Peter was from Catawissa later Locust Twp. of Columbia (formerly Northumberland) County...cannot connect this Peter to any known Yeager line of those areas? Cannot find this Peter Yeagers wife... Peter's son DANIEL YEAGER b 4-1821 Catawissa, Columbia Cty, Pa...married Rachel Engle and moved to Sybertsville, Luzerne Cty, Pa about 1840. He was a shoemaker/tanner/harnessmaker. (The Yeager farm at Sybertsville was active & in family until 1940.) Have lots of information forward.. Children of DANIEL AND RACHEL were William Engle; Lloyd Peter; Mary Ann (Shiner); Albonus Johnson; Angeline (Boone); Cornelia A. (Smith); and Arthur Burton (my G. Grandfather)... Seeking Calvin Yeager (born 1870's) line of the Yeager family of Sybertsville and Hazleton Penna went to Bakersfield Ca. Son of William Engle Yeager(born 1845) son of Daniel Yeager (born 1821) son of Peter Yeager (born 1799). Calvin reportedly "did well" there and had three sons. He was visited by cousins William Y. and Grover Yeager about 1914 Notify Administrator about this message?
