Hi Virginia,
Thanks for the reply. I cannot remember his 1st name because everyone was called by their last names which was on their fatigues/work clothes. I would say he was about 18/19 in 1963 when we were stationed with B Co,2nd Bn 23rd Infantry,2nd Inf Div At Kelly Hill Ft Benning GA,that later became the Ist Cav Div,and went to Nam in 1965. The same outfit is pictured in the movie We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson.

I know that Morristown is getting pretty big these days,but would you know of a Gilliam family who lived there in the 1970's,and possible still do?. I was thru there about 2 years ago on the way to Cherokee NC to play the one armed bandits,from my old hometown of Wallins Creek Harlan Co KY,and now the COLD NORTH.
