Ollie, the information that I have from other researchers, and I don't have actual proof of is this: Elizabeth "Betty" Yerby b. ca 1756 in Lancaster Co., VA
married James Harris, Sr. bef 1784. Their children are: John Harris; William Yerby Harris; James Harris, Jr.; Frances "Fanny" Harris; Mary Ann "Molly" Harris; and Josiah Harris.
As I said, I do not have proof, but I have been researching the Yerby's for several years. Still, we have to help each other. So hope this helps. Good luck on your research.
