Please check your records to see if my ggg grandfather John YORKS who was born abt. 1783 , married Rachel(Rachie) HAVENDER on 7 Nov. 1807, lived in Readington Twp.,Hunterdon Co.NJ, and died in 1869 was one of the sons of William A. YORKS who was b. in 1749 in Readington, married Elizabeth ALLEGAR abt. 1772, and died 22 Oct. 1831. John's son John J. Yorks who was a carpenter in Readington married Sarah Maria SHEATS on 15 June 1839 in Hunterdon.
