Hello Todd,

My Great Great Grandfather (Louis Wicht) and GGGrandmother (Christine ((Minnie)) Deusser-Deuser) emigrated from Hessen to Charlestown, IN around 1850. They later moved to Louisville, KY. Shortly after moving to Louisville, Christine had a child (My GGrandfather). She didn't survive the childbirth.

I know that Christine's mother Mary Elizabeth Deusser and her Husband John Deuser emigrated from Mensfelden, Hessen-Nassau. I believe John Deuser was from Limburg, which is adjacent to Mensfelden.

Believe I've seen Jacob Deusser's gravesite in Charlestown. Might have a picture of it. I'm taking my Dad to Nassau in a few weeks for a research/fun trip. I'll look for the Zabel name.
