My wife's Great Grandmother was Marie Zabilka. She maried Jacob Kubesh in Bohemia about 1867. Jacob and Marie came to America in 1868. They settled in Monona, Iowa and later moved to Chicago where they lived at the time of the great fire (1871). Jacob worked on reconstruction. In 1877 they moved to the Traverse City, Michigan area. Marie was born February 2, 1843 in Budejovie Bohemia. Her parent's names were John and Anna. We know nothing about any siblings of Marie.
