Hi Deborah
I hope you don't mind me responding to your web page on Dorothea Griesing-Elizabeth Griesing Zacher.
I, too, am researching my roots and with the name like Griesing, we all, most likely, must be related somehow. I don't have any information on Dorothea or Elizabeth, but I do have on some other Griesings around the Hazleton, PA area dating back to the mid-1800's.
If you know who was Dorothea's parents that might give me a hint of where on the family tree she belongs.
