I have not met a Zahoruk but the name is so similar it seems we may have a connection. My Zahoriks came from Taus, Bohemia or I have heard it called Domaclize. To avoid the draft they traveled to Bremen and sailed from there. They seem to have first settled in two places, Texas and Wisconsin - two completely different places.
