Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
In my database, I have an ADOLF SAMUEL ZERKOWITZ, b. in Vienna, 4 February 1877, son of Moritz [Maurice] G. Zerkowitz (1842-1921) and his wife, Adele (Spitzer) Zerkowitz (1855-1924). Moritz was b. in Obuda, Hungary [a suburb of Budapest] and was the son of Samuel Zerkowitz (1806-1867) and his wife, Regina (Stern) Zerkowtz (b. 1815).
My notes show that Adolf Samuel Zerkowitz was PERHAPS married to a woman named Jeanne de Courey and that he had two sons, Paul and Peter Zerkowitz. Could this be your family? If so, I am one of your distant relatives, and I can place you in touch with several people who are related even more closely than I.
