I am the oldest grandchild of Charles Peter Zimmerly who was the son of Alfred Zimmerli born to his union with Hannah D. Ware at Nokomis, Ill. My father was Arthur W. Zimmerly, born in Hope, AR where Charles and his wife Louisa (Stienkoenig) Zimmerly moved from Illinois. I have a clipping of the obituary of Alfred taken from the newspaper at his death Feb. 25, 1934 at age 95 years, 2 months and 17 days.
