Thank you for the response.
I did forget a few details which came to me afterwards.
My grandfather- Nicola had two sisters.
Sterina - deceased (Italy)
Maria - lives in Brooklyn. Her married name is Cantone.
She has a daughter named Linda = her married name is Amari.
I will be speaking to my uncle Domenic in Italy this week and my grandaunt in Brooklyn to see if i can dig up more details. I have a feeling that the Buonincontro is not wide spread surname and Acerra is less that 75 miles away.
Our family did move there from another town. Acerra sounds like it might be the one.
